Walz Pardoned a Child Predator — Rubio Just Stepped In

A Laotian national convicted of sexually assaulting a young child has been removed from the United States after a high-profile clash between Minnesota Democrats and the Trump administration over his legal status.

The case drew national attention after Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz approved clemency for Tou Lue Vang, an illegal immigrant whose criminal record dates back nearly two decades. Critics immediately questioned why a convicted child predator was being granted relief, while federal officials warned the move could complicate efforts to deport him.

Despite those concerns, the Trump administration ultimately succeeded in carrying out Vang’s removal from the country.
