A viral video filmed inside a Minneapolis Walmart has reignited a long-running national debate over immigration, assimilation, and the real-world consequences of federal and state policies that prioritize resettlement over integration.
The clip, shared widely on social media, features conservative commentator Kevin Posobiec and Quincy Franklin—also known as the Black Conservative Preacher—during a routine shopping trip that quickly turned into a revealing snapshot of daily life in a city that has absorbed tens of thousands of refugees over the past two decades.
According to Posobiec, the two men stopped at the store simply to purchase hand warmers during a bout of brutal Minnesota cold.
“It’s wicked cold up here in Minneapolis so me & Preacher @thebcpreacher went to Walmart to get hand warmers,” Posobiec wrote when posting the footage on X.
