VP Tucker? One Condition Changes Everything

During the Christmas gala for the American Principles Project Foundation (APP), Tucker Carlson made some thought-provoking and entertaining remarks. Carlson’s response was notable amid rumors that Melania Trump was considering him for the vice presidential position.

Carlson is hesitant to consider taking on the role, but he highlights how difficult it would be and says that only a miracle would persuade him to accept the vice presidential slot alongside outgoing President Donald Trump in the 2024 election.

Reported political ambitions are denied by Carlson, who expresses no inclination to step down from his position as a media pundit. He likens it, in a lighthearted way, to becoming a politician from the position of “well-paid street corner schizophrenic”.

In a recent interview with Roseanne Barr, Carlson defended Trump without reservation, especially when it came to the Mar-a-Lago raid in 2022.

“I’ve always agreed with Trump’s policies, and I’ve lost friends over it,” Carlson shared. However, he said that it was the controversial raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence that transformed him from a passive supporter to an active one. “That just can’t stand,” he said.

“You cannot allow the regime, the President of the United States, to use the Justice Department to knock the frontrunner out of the race,” Carlson explained. “You can’t do that… So it’s bigger than Trump. It’s bigger than Biden. It’s a question of, do you want to live in a free country with a functioning justice system.”

Melania Trump has been pushing her husband to think about appointing Carlson as his chief of staff because she thinks the former President would bring a lot of energy and vitality to the public image. Melania has only made a few appearances on the campaign trail this year; this move may also result in her making more.

Among the prospective vice presidential contenders being considered are U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas, and Senate candidate Kari Lake of Arizona. Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL), who has endorsed Trump, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) are joining them on the shortlist.

When Trump said in November that he would be open to considering Carlson for vice president, it caused a stir. “I like Tucker a lot,” was Trump’s response to the suggestion during a discussion on “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show.” I suppose I would think about him. He has excellent common sense.

ALERT! Major Water Restrictions In Effect!

In the course of debating the ground-breaking concept, Trump reflected on his decision to speak with Carlson in the first Republican debate. The decision brought in an unprecedented amount of viewers.

The ratings, according to Trump, are a result of the powerful influence of conservative media figures like Carlson. On Carlson’s program, “Debate Night with Donald J. Trump,” garnered an astounding 212.3 million impressions. To put things in perspective, the debate reached a peak of 24 million viewers when Fox News broke the record for ratings in 2015—largely because of Trump’s involvement.
