Vivek Ramaswamy, the biotech entrepreneur and former GOP presidential contender, is reportedly stepping down from his role in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an initiative launched by President-elect Donald Trump and co-led with billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk. The anticipated move comes amid mounting internal tensions and speculation about Ramaswamy’s political aspirations.
A Bold Start with High Hopes
In November, President Trump announced with much fanfare the creation of DOGE, designed to streamline government operations and eliminate waste. He appointed Ramaswamy alongside Musk to lead the ambitious initiative.
