In a shocking development early this morning, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the head of Russia’s Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Defense Forces, was killed in a targeted bombing in Moscow, marking a major escalation in tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
The explosion, which occurred on Ryazansky Prospekt in southeast Moscow, was reportedly caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted on an electric scooter near the entrance of a residential building. The powerful blast, equivalent to 200 grams of TNT, claimed the lives of General Kirillov and his assistant, triggering a wave of anger from Russian leadership.
