Trump campaigned on ending endless foreign wars and he is moving fast to make good on the promise. His Gaza breakthrough not only froze the fighting but proved that Trump can deliver diplomatic results no Western leader achieved in years. With that momentum behind him, he turned directly toward Kyiv.
A senior U.S. official confirmed that the Ukrainian government finally accepted Trump’s revised peace outline after weeks of stalling from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to the official, “The Ukrainians have agreed to the peace deal. There are some minor details to be sorted out but they have agreed to a peace deal.”
