“I’ve always agreed with Trump’s policies, and I’ve lost friends over it,” Carlson disclosed. But he claimed that the contentious raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate was what turned him from being a fan who remained silent to one who took an active role. He declared, “That just can’t stand.”

“You cannot allow the regime, the President of the United States, to use the Justice Department to knock the frontrunner out of the race,” Carlson explained. “You can’t do that… So it’s bigger than Trump. It’s bigger than Biden. It’s a question of, do you want to live in a free country with a functioning justice system.”

Carlson’s analysis is in line with the views of many of Trump’s fans, who see the raid as a politically driven plot to undermine his chances of winning the presidency in 2024.
Carlson continued to express his support by saying, “I’m voting for Trump, and if they convict him, I will send him the max donations and I will lead protests.”
There have been rumors that Tucker may be a long shot to become Trump’s vice president.
