Trump’s VP List: Surprising New Names!

In the whirlwind of American politics, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, once a favored candidate for Donald Trump’s vice-presidential pick, is reportedly losing traction in the race for the coveted position. Sources suggest that his chance to join Trump on the 2024 ticket is waning, casting doubts on his potential nomination, according to a New York Post report.

Senator Scott, aged 58, promptly endorsed Trump after halting his own presidential campaign last year before the Iowa caucuses. He was a vigorous advocate for Trump, particularly in South Carolina—a state where Trump handily defeated former Governor Nikki Haley. Despite his early and enthusiastic support, Scott’s position as a leading VP contender is now under scrutiny.

Recent developments indicate that Trump has significantly narrowed his list of potential running mates. The shortlist reportedly includes notable figures such as Ohio Senator JD Vance, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum. These candidates are currently undergoing a rigorous vetting process as Trump gears up to make his final decision, expected to be announced at or before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee next month.

  1. Previously, I was hoping President Trump would have chosen Ron DeSantis for Vice-President. That was
before Ron decided to run against him in the primary
election. I still think Ron would be a good choice because
they are so alike in personalities and they both have
guts to stand up to these radicals without fear of
repercussions. After President Trump’s second term,
Ron could carry on his legacy as being the best
    President in over 40 years!
