In a new radio commercial, former President Donald Trump expresses his support for American autoworkers and claims that Vice President Joe Biden has “turned his back” on them.
Introducing the most recent advertisement as the United Auto Workers (UAW), a powerful organization with over 400,000 members, is now engaged in a significant strike. Historically a Democratic bastion, their faith in the party’s dedication is waning as a result of the Biden Administration’s focus on electric automobiles.
“They are America’s auto workers. They helped build our country and keep us on the move. and we’ve always been able to count on them during times of war, peace, prosperity, and tough times,” In the most recent Trump advertisement, a narrator reads.
“Yet all they’ve ever wanted is to compete fairly worldwide and get their fair share of the American dream. Donald Trump calls them great Americans and has always had their backs — from tax cuts for their families to playing hardball with China,” the ad continues. “Biden? He’s turned his back on the auto workers, by cutting a deal that uses America’s tax dollars to help fund China’s electric car business.”
“That’s a stake in the heart for American auto workers. And they can count on Donald Trump, to change that.”
Breaking: 13,000 Auto Workers Demand Fair Pay on Strike! 10% or so of the labor of Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis are represented by the United Automobile Workers (UAW) union. The workers are requesting a sizeable 36% wage boost, citing comparable raises handed to firm officials as justification for their demands after unsuccessful discussions. Watch this space for updates on the ongoing fight for fair pay.
The UAW declared in June that it would stop supporting President Biden because of the administration’s promotion of electric automobiles. UAW President Shawn Fain indicated in an internal memo that the union will not support Joe Biden’s re-election campaign unless he makes big pledges to safeguard employment in the car sector. “We want to see national leadership have our back on this before we make any commitments,” Fain wrote in the memo.
The Biden Department of Energy has made a historic $9.2 million commitment to Ford Motor as part of a collaborative endeavor. Three cutting-edge factories throughout the United States stand to gain from this innovative project, which intends to transform the manufacture of electric car batteries. The program office has never issued a loan of this size, and it represents a big step forward in the quest for sustainable and clean transportation.

“We have been absolutely clear that the switch to electric engine jobs, battery production and other EV manufacturing cannot become a race to the bottom. Not only is the federal government not using its power to turn the tide – they’re actively funding the race to the bottom with billions in public money,” Fain stated in a statement following the announcement of the loan.
“These companies are extremely profitable and will continue to make money hand over fist whether they’re selling combustion engines or EVs. Yet the workers get a smaller and smaller piece of the pie. Why is Joe Biden’s administration facilitating this corporate greed with taxpayer money?”
