The former president, Donald Trump, has formally acknowledged that he is in the running to become Speaker of the House of Representatives. Trump indicates a possible comeback to politics by making this declaration from a New York courthouse.
Trump said that he would be open to taking up the position and reaffirmed his dedication to performing “whatever’s best for the country and for the Republican Party.”
Picture Trump and Biden were negotiating fervently in the same room. Imagine being a fly on that wall!
