Unlike Biden, Donald Trump has promised to bring the war in Ukraine to an end. He has repeatedly stated that he could do so within months of taking office. Unlike Biden, who has allowed communication lines between Washington and Moscow to deteriorate, Trump is already engaging in diplomacy.
Last week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and U.S. delegates met with Russian officials in Saudi Arabia to discuss peace negotiations. On Monday, French President Emmanuel Macron made a trip to the White House, reportedly to push back against Trump’s efforts to secure a deal with Russia.
At a press conference that same day, Trump spoke about his ability to broker peace. And he made a stunning revelation—he had spoken directly with Vladimir Putin.
“I’ve spoken to President Putin, and my people are dealing with him constantly, and his people in particular, and they want to do something,” Trump said during the conference at the White House.
The former president emphasized his lifelong experience in deal-making.
“That’s all I know, is deals,” Trump stated. “And I know when somebody wants to make it and when somebody doesn’t.”
While the leftist media has painted Putin as a ruthless dictator beyond negotiation, Trump sees an opportunity to end the war. When asked if he trusted Putin, Trump made his stance clear.
“I think it’s to the very much benefit of Russia to make a deal and to go on with—go on with leading Russia in a very positive way,” Trump said. “That’s what you have to do.”
Trump doubled down on his belief that Putin is open to a deal.

“I really believe that he wants to make a deal,” Trump said. “Maybe I’m wrong, but I believe he wants to make a deal.”
For three years, the war in Ukraine has drained resources, shattered families, and cost taxpayers an unfathomable sum. Biden’s approach has only prolonged the conflict, while the administration’s warmongers push for endless funding with no plan for peace.
But Donald Trump is determined to be the leader who stops the bloodshed and makes history as a man of peace. Unlike Biden, he is actively working to end the war—and the establishment doesn’t like it.
The question now is whether Democrats and the media will allow him to secure peace, or if they will do everything in their power to stop him.
