A Celebrity Who Fled the Country
O’Donnell’s behavior has only fueled Trump’s attacks. Instead of sticking it out in America, she bolted. The comedian left the United States ahead of Trump’s 2017 inauguration and has been living in Ireland, actively pursuing foreign citizenship.
She once admitted she wouldn’t return to the country until “it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights.” Translation: she couldn’t handle life under a Trump presidency.
For millions of Americans, that says it all. She abandoned the nation because her side lost an election.
Rosie Melts Down Online
Trump’s post hit a nerve, and O’Donnell couldn’t resist firing back. Her response, however, only underscored her panic.
“im the distraction – EPSTEIN SURVIVORS are the reckoning and your gold lamé throne is melting,” she snapped on social media.
She also tried to compare Trump to Logan Roy, the ruthless patriarch from HBO’s “Succession.”
But her attempt to redirect attention fell flat. Instead of defending her own record or confronting Trump directly, she deflected to the Jeffrey Epstein files scandal.
Dragging Epstein Into It
This week, Epstein’s victims gathered on Capitol Hill demanding more transparency. O’Donnell tried to latch onto that moment by suggesting Trump was using her as a “distraction” from the case.
But there’s one glaring problem – Trump has been going after O’Donnell for months, long before the latest Epstein news cycle.
Even David Schoen, who once represented Epstein, has stated publicly that the late financier had no dirt on Trump. That makes O’Donnell’s deflection look desperate and disconnected from reality.
Trump Wins Again
In just one social media post, Trump exposed O’Donnell’s weakness. He reminded Americans she abandoned her homeland, mocked her failed attempt at moral authority, and triggered a meltdown that played out for everyone to see.
Rather than rise above it, O’Donnell confirmed Trump’s point. She is living in Ireland, seeking foreign citizenship, while attacking the American president from afar.
Trump said she’s incapable of being a “Great American.” Her actions continue to prove him right.
At the end of the day, O’Donnell isn’t standing with Americans – she’s hiding overseas and throwing stones from the sidelines. And no amount of angry posts will change that fact.
