Trump’s ambitious plan aims to launch what he describes as the “largest deportation effort in American history.” The former president has blamed the Biden administration’s policies for devastating local communities, endangering lives, and fueling the spread of drugs and violence across the country.
To spearhead this initiative, Trump has tapped Tom Homan, a former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as his “border czar.” Homan, who has been vocal about his support for stricter immigration enforcement, laid out a strategy focused on precision rather than broad crackdowns.

“It’s not gonna be – a mass sweep of neighborhoods. It’s not gonna be building concentration camps. I’ve read it all. It’s ridiculous,” Homan told CBS News. “They’ll be targeted arrests. We’ll know who we’re going to arrest, where we’re most likely to find ‘em based on numerous, you know, investigative processes.”
