Trump’s Latest Deal: GOP Governor Stuns Washington!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Stitt tasked Oklahoma Commissioner of Public Safety Tim Tipton with identifying incarcerated illegal immigrants as part of the first wave of deportations under a Trump administration. According to state records, more than 500 illegal immigrants are serving time in Oklahoma prisons, with additional numbers in county jails.

“We want to protect the citizens of Oklahoma and we want to be ready to get them out of our state and out of our country before you see another one of the issues that affected Georgia with the Laken Riley case,” Stitt explained, referencing a high-profile incident involving a criminal illegal immigrant.

Stitt’s administration is collaborating with Trump’s transition team to finalize a comprehensive deportation strategy by January.

The financial burden of housing illegal immigrants in Oklahoma’s prisons is significant, costing the state approximately $36,000 per day. Stitt emphasized the economic and public safety advantages of his approach.

“These are people that are here illegally, that have committed crimes, and we want to make sure that they’re not burdensome to the taxpayers of the state of Oklahoma,” Stitt said.

The governor expressed surprise at the opposition from Democratic leaders, many of whom have championed sanctuary policies even for violent offenders.

“What’s amazing to me is you have some Democrat Governors that are now talking about not supporting President Trump, and I don’t think they learned anything from the election — that the American people want safe communities, and we want to have strong borders,” he remarked.

The Trump administration’s deportation efforts prioritize illegal immigrants convicted of crimes. Stitt underscored the importance of removing individuals who pose the greatest risk to public safety.

“When you think about someone that’s here illegally, that’s breaking the law, that’s pushing fentanyl, or they have been convicted of rape or burglary, and they’re not U.S. citizens, and they’re here illegally,” Stitt declared. “I don’t know who could argue with me on ‘We want to make sure that those people are out of our country and not allowed to return.’”

Since Stitt took office in 2018, Oklahoma has experienced a 500% spike in fentanyl-related deaths. He attributed the crisis to the Biden administration’s border policies, highlighting the devastating impact on communities across the state.

For Stitt, the stakes are clear: “We’ve suffered enough from the border crisis. States must cooperate with the Trump administration to make deportation a priority and restore safety.”

As Trump’s second term begins to take shape, cooperation from states like Oklahoma could streamline efforts to address illegal immigration. With red states leading the charge, the potential for sweeping policy change grows stronger, setting the stage for a heated national debate.

  1. Americans (mainly the Conservative Voters): Hello.
Legislate (by law) for mandatory punishment of illegals who commit crimes here in the USA. Fines, prison, death penalty (applicable to the crime) and mandatory in all 50 States and DC. Upon punishment imposed and served: for all the illegals ages, obtain the illegals’ photos (mugshots), fingerprints, and DNA before mandatory deportation.

  2. Americans(mainly the Conservative Voters): Hello. This sabotage by obiden the liar, money grubber, dishonest, treasonous on-the-take…is disgraceful. Shows that the demoncrat, communist agenda for control and power vastly exceeds any “fake love” for our Country.
It shows that obiden wants Trump’s new term to fail, and thereby wants our Country to fail as well. If obiden can hide in his basements and slurp ice cream, then the heck with our Country, huh?
But, Trump will rise above that bs. Right has might! [vs the left].
And, hopefully Trump, in his imminent inauguration speech 47 will include: “…but if I said: “good riddance , obiden is fired. Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out…”, but I won’t say it. Ha!
