The mainstream media is once again in a frenzy—this time over President Donald J. Trump’s legs and hands. Left-wing pundits pounced the moment they saw slight swelling in his ankles and a few bruises on his hand, throwing around wild theories of heart failure, blood clots, and other worst-case scenarios. But on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stepped up and put those rumors to rest with a full update from the President’s physician.
“The President remains in excellent health, which I think all of you witness on a daily basis here,” Leavitt told reporters from the podium.
That clear statement from the press secretary should’ve ended the speculation, but the liberal media doesn’t care much for facts when a headline is on the line. Over the past few days, critics on the left have suggested that President Trump may be suffering from dangerous medical conditions such as edema or heart disease, despite there being zero official indication of anything serious.
Leavitt wasted no time responding. She told the press that President Trump had undergone a full medical evaluation by the White House’s own medical team.
