A major component of Trump’s second step involves a complete overhaul of intelligence and national security agencies, which he claims are weaponized against political opponents. He emphasized, “We will get rid of all the corrupt people in our national security and intelligence apparatus.” This proposed shakeup is designed to address what Trump sees as a culture of political bias within these agencies. He has long argued that conservatives, Christians, and others are unfairly targeted, and he believes these reforms will ensure the impartiality of agencies tasked with national security.
