At a recent campaign event in Wisconsin for Kamala Harris, former President Barack Obama made it clear that his obsession with Donald Trump remains strong. While the rally, also attended by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, was supposed to be about encouraging Democrats to vote early, Obama took the opportunity to launch a series of personal attacks on the 45th President. As Trump surges in the polls, particularly in swing states, Obama seems determined to undermine his success by mocking his business ventures and campaign style.
Obama’s digs at Trump began early in his speech, with an apparent focus on Trump’s business persona. “When he’s not complaining, he’s trying to sell you stuff,” Obama quipped, igniting laughter from the crowd. He went on to question Trump’s decision to sell merchandise during his campaign, asking, “I mean, who is hawking merch when they’re running for president?”

The former president didn’t stop there. He accused Trump of selling luxury goods, including sneakers and watches, while implying they weren’t as high-end as advertised. “He’s trying to sell you golden sneakers. He’s trying to sell you a $100,000 watch. Says it’s made in Switzerland, but nobody really knows,” Obama joked.
