A federal judge appointed by President Joe Biden has halted former President Donald Trump’s executive orders that aimed to put an end to taxpayer-funded diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, once again proving how the activist judiciary is working against the will of the American people.
U.S. District Judge Adam Abelson issued a nationwide injunction Friday, stopping Trump’s efforts to strip DEI-related funding from federal agencies and contractors. The ruling, cheered by left-wing groups, claims that canceling taxpayer subsidies for race-based hiring and ideological training would violate free speech rights.

Abelson, a Biden appointee, sided with a coalition of liberal groups led by the City of Baltimore, which filed a lawsuit claiming Trump’s orders would cause “irreparable harm” to those profiting from DEI initiatives. Despite DEI programs being deeply controversial and divisive, the lawsuit argued that eliminating them would have a chilling effect on speech.
