Boasberg, an Obama appointee, pushed even further, demanding that the Department of Justice (DOJ) reveal classified national security details in a heated Monday court hearing. His insistence raised alarm bells within the DOJ, which hit back hard, warning that the judge’s actions threatened both security operations and diplomatic relations.
