Former President Donald Trump once again proved why he’s earned the reputation as one of the toughest dealmakers in modern politics.
This time, his no-nonsense negotiating skills were aimed squarely at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — and Trump didn’t hold back.
Trump has spent weeks trying to broker a deal that would finally end the brutal war in Gaza and secure the release of the remaining Israeli hostages.
According to multiple reports, Hamas shocked observers on Friday by agreeing to major elements of Trump’s 20-point peace proposal — including freeing all Israeli hostages.
But instead of meeting the news with optimism, Netanyahu reportedly brushed it off as meaningless.
“This is nothing to celebrate, and it doesn’t mean anything,” Netanyahu reportedly told Trump during their Friday phone call.
