President Donald Trump reignited controversy Friday after blasting the Department of Justice over its handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, accusing Democrats of using the investigation as a political distraction and demanding full transparency.
Trump reacted after the DOJ revealed it had located “over a million more” Epstein-related documents, a disclosure that immediately set off another round of political infighting in Washington.
According to Trump, the renewed focus on Epstein has nothing to do with justice and everything to do with undermining Republican momentum ahead of the election.
“Release all of their names, embarrass them, and get back to helping our Country!” Trump said, calling the ongoing review “just another Witch Hunt.”
Trump Slams DOJ Over Epstein Focus
In a fiery statement posted Friday, Trump argued that federal prosecutors are wasting valuable time combing through Epstein records instead of addressing urgent national issues.
