Following his recent withdrawal from his own presidential campaign, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has formally endorsed Donald Trump for the presidency. This support was made known on Sunday during a significant Trump gathering in Indianola, Iowa.
After faltering in the polls and being disqualified from the GOP debates, Burgum called for his endorsement in front of the audience and declared, “I’m here to do something that none of the other presidential primary candidates have done, and that endorses Donald J. Trump for president.”

In the surveys, Trump continues to have a commanding lead as the pivotal Iowa caucuses approach.
“President Trump protected our borders. He cut red tape like no president has ever done before. He passed the largest tax cuts in the history of America and he supercharged our economy,” said Bergum.
WATCH:
Doug Burgum, the governor of North Dakota, has continuously expressed his support for President Trump and the ideas of the Republican party. As a fellow businessman, Burgum and Trump have a lot in common, particularly when it comes to issues of the economy and energy, which are crucial areas of concern for North Dakota. Burgum’s steadfast endorsement of Trump’s policies demonstrates his commitment to furthering the interests of the state.
He has continuously shown his support for Trump, even lending his endorsement to his reelection bid.
Trump further cemented his popularity among GOP elites by introducing former primary opponent Burgum and his wife at the gathering. This endorsement is very important since it represents a unity of Republican support for Trump’s campaign.
“President Trump is going to win the Republican nomination,” Bergum said on Monday to CNN. “It’s not going to be close. He’s going to be up against Joe Biden. And as a governor and as a business person, I’ve had an opportunity to see what it’s like under each of those presidents.”
“And I can tell you in our state, which is an energy state, an ag state, we were much better off under President Trump. And I know when we campaign on three things: economy, energy, national security. Those things are all three interrelated. Joe Biden’s taking this country in 180 degrees the wrong direction. And I know that under a Trump administration, we’re going to be going in the right direction on that.”
With a slew of high-profile endorsements, Trump’s campaign is strengthening and solidifying his position as the front-runner in the Republican primary.

‘Super Tuesday’ in the 2024 Presidential Primary is rapidly approaching, and according to the most recent surveys, Trump is holding onto his lead.
New polling data from The Trafalgar Group and Insider Advantage suggests a tight fight between former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. With Haley at 18.5% and DeSantis at 19.3%, the two candidates are now separated by only one point.
Trump has a commanding advantage of 32.8 points and an amazing 52.1% in the survey.
On January 15, the Iowa caucuses begin on Monday night. Trump is predicted to win handily, but there is competition for second place, which is crucial for any campaign to have a chance. A statistical tie between Haley and DeSantis exists, and it is not impossible that Ramaswamy may make a shocking discovery.
