In a Saturday post on Truth Social, former President Donald Trump directly addressed speculation about potential members of his future administration. Trump clarified that he has no intention of bringing back two prominent figures from his first term: former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
“I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation,” Trump posted. “I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The post comes amid a wave of media speculation about who might serve in a possible Trump second term, with figures like Ben Shapiro of the Daily Wire suggesting Pompeo was in consideration. Pompeo, who also served as CIA Director under Trump, was reportedly seen as a strong candidate by some within Trump’s circle.
