On X, the website that replaced Twitter, Carlson and Trump were interviewed. The former Fox News personality questioned the 45th President on Epstein’s death in a New York jail in 2019. The millionaire was facing trial for allegedly running a sex trafficking operation where he sold youngsters to older men at the time of his controversal death.
Did the Trump administration, led by William Barr as attorney general, genuinely think that Epstein committed suicide in a federal prison? Carlson raised this important query.
Trump replied, “I don’t know,” leaving room for other possibilities. He claimed to be aware that Epstein frequented Palm Beach, Florida. Carlson questioned the former president, stating that although an investigation was promised, it never materialized.
The former Fox personality implied that Barr was hiding something while asserting that the former attorney general “knew why” he was fired. Trump and the former AG no longer get along. The former president charged Barr with failing to look into claims of election fraud in 2020.
