Trump Pressure WORKS: Egypt Acts on Gaza!

Egypt is spearheading a push for an Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit to address the Gaza crisis, reacting to President Donald Trump’s warning of U.S. intervention if regional nations fail to act. According to The National, Saudi Arabia and Qatar back Egypt’s effort to unify the OIC against U.S. involvement, with a summit expected after the Arab League’s upcoming meeting in Cairo.

Trump, speaking alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warned, “The U.S. will take direct control of the Gaza Strip and force neighboring Arab states to accept refugees if a plan is not put in place,” envisioning Gaza as “the Riviera of the Middle East.” The President’s stance echoes his Panama Canal strategy, where U.S. pressure led Panama to cancel a trade pact with China.
