Trump Reportedly Greenlights Strikes Inside Russia
The first major move came when Trump’s envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, went on Fox News and suggested Ukraine now has approval for deep strikes inside Russia.
“Reading what he [Trump] has said, and reading what Vice President Vance has said as well as Secretary Rubio, the answer is yes. Use the ability to hit deep. There are no such things as sanctuaries,” Kellogg admitted.
This represents a massive break from the Biden years, when the White House tiptoed around escalation. But Kellogg also confessed the approval is “mixed.” Sometimes Ukraine gets the go-ahead, other times not.
