The Trump administration has secured a $5 million settlement with Instacart after the Department of Justice accused the company of maintaining unequal application procedures that disadvantaged American job seekers.
Federal investigators determined that the technology company used different recruitment methods for U.S. applicants and foreign workers seeking employment-based permanent residency.
The alleged arrangement created additional hurdles for Americans competing for positions that could ultimately be filled by foreign nationals.
