Three years after the Bud Light controversy exploded into one of the biggest corporate culture-war battles in recent memory, President Donald Trump brought the episode roaring back into the national spotlight.
The unlikely stage was the 2026 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, where Trump took aim at CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins — and then reached back into the past to invoke transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney and the marketing disaster that sent Bud Light’s once-dominant position into a tailspin.
Mulvaney, meanwhile, wasted little time responding.
