They are stopped there to pay respects to their family member who was killed,” Trump said solemnly.
“And it’s a terrible sight, I have never seen anything like it,” he added.
His tone was somber, direct, and devastatingly honest. Unlike the mainstream press, Trump wasn’t about to turn a blind eye to the carnage.
The press conference quickly turned from diplomatic to explosive. Trump confronted Ramaphosa head-on over South Africa’s controversial Expropriation Act of 2024, which allows the government to seize land from white farmers — without paying a cent in compensation.
“But you do allow them to take land,” Trump said firmly.
