President Donald Trump did not just attend the World Economic Forum in Davos. He dominated it.

By the time Trump finished speaking, one thing was clear to every global powerbroker in the room. The old rules no longer apply. And some European leaders are not emotionally prepared for that reality.
No one seemed more rattled than French President Emmanuel Macron, who made a very noticeable decision to leave town just hours before Trump took the stage.
That choice spoke louder than any speech.
Macron Talks Tough Then Disappears
Macron spent the early part of the week posturing at Davos, walking around in aviator sunglasses and delivering thinly veiled attacks aimed squarely at Trump. He avoided using Trump’s name, but no one missed the target.
“We do prefer respect to bullies,” Macron declared.
“And we do prefer rule of law to brutality.”
