Trump Has Just Gained An Unexpected Edge
As a massive endorsement bolsters his ambitions, former leader Donald Trump’s path to regaining the presidency of the United States gains momentum.
“Rep. @Jim_Jordan, a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus, stands with @realDonaldTrump,” on Twitter, the MAGA War Room stated.

Jordan vehemently defends the former US President and fiercely criticizes Democrats, claiming that Democrats are to blame for the numerous Trump-related investigations.
Chip Roy, a Republican from Texas, recently expressed his support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as a potential presidential candidate in 2024, despite the fact that DeSantis has kept his candidacy a secret.
“It’s time for younger, but proven, leadership to offer America eight solid years of transformational change,” Roy stated in an email for fundraising. “It’s time for Ron DeSantis to be President of the United States.”
Jordan asserts that the disbanded Democrat-controlled House Committee that looked into the chaos at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, was a deliberate strategy to prevent Donald Trump from running for president in 2024.
“There’s been subpoenas issued to 11 individuals, 11 American citizens who asked the government permission on an application to hold the Trump rally. The government granted it and the January 6 committee petitioned them to ask them questions about exercising their First Amendment right to assemble. And why would they subpoena me? I didn’t do anything wrong — I talked to the president. I talk to the president all the time. I just think that’s — you know where I’m at on this commission — this is all about going after President Trump. That seems obvious,” Jordan said.
“Everyone in the country sees this as a political operation. This is designed to get after President Trump. Because they don’t want him to run again,” added he.
The alleged involvement of California Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi in the security flaws and intelligence breakdowns that marred the U.S. Capitol on January 6 during her tenure as Speaker of the House has been revealed by revelations from a damning report by House Republicans.
In an effort to safeguard Capitol Hill, Pelosi’s office was diligently orchestrating security measures behind the scenes. They held frequent meetings, refined law enforcement strategies, and even denied certain federal requests.
“Days after Pelosi’s Jan. 6 select committee recommended insurrection charges against former president Donald Trump over the Capitol riot, Republicans have hit back with a counter-investigation apportioning blame for the internal security breakdown on Jan. 6 to Pelosi and a dysfunctional Capitol Police intelligence division,” according to the New York Post,
According to the New York Post,
“Leadership and law enforcement failures within the U.S. Capitol left the complex vulnerable on January 6, 2021,” he report, which is based on a lot of texts and emails and testimony from leaders and rank-and-file officers of the Capitol Police, says
Paul Irving, the House Sergeant at Arms, was one of the three voting members of the Capitol Police Board and reported to Pelosi, “succumbed to political pressures from the Office of Speaker Pelosi and House Democrat leadership,” was “compromised by politics and did not adequately prepare for violence at the Capitol.”
Irving and Pelosi’s team are said to have “coordinated closely” on important security plans for the historic Joint Session of Congress on January 6th. In any case, apparently conservatives were purposefully barred from these “important discussions related to security.”
Irving asked a high-ranking Democratic aide to “act surprised” when he got the “key information about plans for the Joint Session on Jan. 6, 2021, to him and his Republican counterpart.”, in an apparent plot to hide the Republican exclusion.
The employee’s sarcastic response was: “I’m startled!”
Intriguingly, the report suggests that Nancy Pelosi is held accountable for the events of January 6 through emails from the House Sergeant at Arms office. However, there is no evidence to support this bold claim, which piques the reader’s interest.
The Speaker’s office’s involvement in shaping authorities’ strategies and rejecting multiple federal law enforcement proposals to protect the Capitol on the fateful day of January 6, 2021 are revealed in the report.
“Reps. Jim Banks (R-IN), Rodney Davis (R-IL), Troy Nehls (R-TX), Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Kelly Armstrong (R-ND) independently published a 141-page investigative report on Wednesday outlining what they describe as House Democratic leadership and Capitol authorities’ failures that left the complex vulnerable,” it said.
“Democrats and the Jan. 6 Committee used the Capitol Police as a political prop, then did nothing when USCP officers were harassed for telling the truth. They should be ashamed,” Rep. Banks gave The Federalist fascinating insights into the investigation after he was excluded from the Select Committee on January 6.
Prior to the tumultuous event, the Speaker’s office collaborated with law enforcement, demonstrating foresight. Democrats, on the other hand, struggled to strike a balance between security concerns and the visible impact of the increased police and National Guard presence.
“I have no power over the Capitol Police. Does anybody not know that? The Capitol Police have responded to that gentleman’s allegation, and that stands as what it is. But I have no power over the police,” she said in February.
“This is false,” Republicans said as they said that their investigation and witnesses showed how “then-House Sergeant of Arms Paul Irving carried out his duties in clear deference to the Speaker, her staff, and other Democratic staff.”
“The [House sergeant at arms] had a pattern of and practice of seeking and obtaining permission from the Speaker for all security decisions,” Republicans mentioned.
“Staff within the House Sergeant at Arms office emailed Paul Irving that January 6th was Pelosi’s fault,” Republicans said.
