Trump Endorses Navy SEAL Captain Ed Gallrein
In a fiery new post, Trump unleashed on Massie again, calling him a “Weak and Pathetic RINO” who’s out of touch with the people of Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District.
“Third Rate Congressman Thomas Massie, a Weak and Pathetic RINO from the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky, a place I love, and won big SIX TIMES, must be thrown out of office, ASAP!” Trump declared.
He went on to praise Gallrein’s credentials as both a warrior and a businessman:
“The incredible people of Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District gave us a mandate to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and the person that will help us do that is Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Fifth Generation Kentucky Farmer, Captain Ed Gallrein, a true America First Patriot.”
Trump described Gallrein as the embodiment of courage, discipline, and leadership:
“A Brave Combat Veteran, Ed knows the Wisdom and Courage required to Defend our Country, Support our Military/Veterans, and Ensure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.”
A “True America First Patriot”
Trump praised Gallrein’s record in business and agriculture, emphasizing his commitment to rebuilding America’s economy and energy independence.
“Additionally, as a very successful Businessman, Ed knows how to Create GREAT Jobs, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Support our Amazing Farmers and American Agriculture, Unleash American Energy Dominance, and Champion our Nation’s Golden Age.”
The former president also highlighted Gallrein’s pledge to fight for border security and the Second Amendment.
“In Congress, he will fight tirelessly to Keep our now very Secure Border, SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment.”
Trump: “Run, Ed, Run — MAGA!”
Trump made it clear that he believes the voters of Kentucky have had enough of Massie’s contrarian stunts.
“I hope Ed gets into the Race against Massie, who is now polling at about 9% because the Great People of Kentucky are wise to him — He only votes against the Republican Party, making life very easy for the Radical Left,” Trump said.
And in his signature rallying cry, Trump concluded,
“CAPTAIN ED GALLREIN IS A WINNER WHO WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. Should he decide to challenge Massie, Captain Ed Gallrein has my Complete and Total Endorsement. RUN, ED, RUN — MAGA!”
The Final Straw
Massie has long been a thorn in Trump’s side, voting against major pro-Trump bills and criticizing his policies. He even drew outrage among conservatives for calling on Trump to “tone down” his rhetoric after Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a far-left extremist — an implication many saw as shameful and out of line.
He also broke ranks on foreign policy, opposing Trump’s pro-Israel agenda, and even pushed a move to force Trump to release the Epstein files that he had withheld while in office.
While Massie is often praised by libertarians for his independence, many conservatives now see his behavior as sabotage.
And with Trump now officially declaring war and rallying Kentucky behind a decorated veteran, the clock may be ticking on Massie’s days in Congress.
