Even his toughest critics can’t deny that former President Donald Trump knows how to work a crowd. At the annual Al Smith Dinner, a high-profile charity fundraiser for Catholic organizations, Trump unleashed a 28-minute set that had attendees roaring with laughter. With sharp wit and biting humor, Trump took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, her husband Doug Emhoff, and the left’s increasingly controversial stances, leaving no stone unturned.

Kamala Harris was conspicuously absent from the event. Her campaign handlers likely decided that it would be safer for her to avoid the spotlight rather than risk her stumbling through another awkward public appearance. The video her campaign sent in her place did little to inspire confidence. Instead of engaging the audience, it was reportedly “uber cringe,” underscoring the doubts about her public speaking abilities.

In contrast, Trump embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm, confidently delivering a series of zingers that had the audience in stitches. His ability to blend humor with political jabs proved to be a highlight of the evening.
One of the standout moments of Trump’s routine was his mockery of the fictitious group “White Dudes for Harris.” Trump quipped about this imagined organization, saying it was full of low-testosterone beta males. “There’s a group called ‘White Dudes for Harris.’ Have you seen this? White Dudes For Harris. Anybody know it? Are some of here, White Dudes for Harris? Doesn’t sound like it. But I’m not worried about them at all because their wives and their wives’ lovers are all voting for me. Every one of those people are voting for me,” Trump joked, prompting a chorus of laughter from the crowd.
