And while many conservatives are sounding the alarm over his political leanings and past comments, media figure Megyn Kelly is urging people to look deeper, even if Donald Trump supporters won’t like what she has to say.
Pope Leo XIV’s elevation to the papacy is historic. For the first time in the nearly 2,000-year history of the Catholic Church, a man born and raised in the United States now leads more than a billion Catholics worldwide.
But his rise to the highest office in the Church quickly sparked concerns among conservative Catholics and America First supporters. Why? Because Leo XIV, before donning the white robes of the papacy, maintained an active presence on social media—where he openly criticized former President Donald Trump.
Among his most inflammatory posts was one in which he parroted left-wing narratives, labeling Trump a racist for his infamous “bad hombres” comment about criminal illegal aliens crossing the southern border. That comment alone was enough to set off alarm bells among those who had grown tired of Pope Francis’ globalist rhetoric.
