This substantial fundraising boost provides Trump with a significant financial edge as the campaign prepares to flood the airwaves with ads and outreach efforts in the lead-up to Election Day.
According to filings with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Trump’s campaign raised the $160 million across various committees, a figure that is nearly $30 million more than what was collected in August. These new figures leave the campaign with a hefty $283 million in cash reserves as it heads into October. With the final weeks of the election cycle upon us, both the fundraising haul and the ability to spend big will be crucial, especially as undecided voters begin to tune in more closely.

Senior campaign advisor Brian Hughes expressed confidence in the momentum of Trump’s fundraising efforts. “President Trump continues to inspire millions of everyday Americans to join his America First movement and help fuel the campaign with their hard-earned money. In September, nearly 2.5 million donations under $200 were made,” Hughes told Spectrum News. “These supporters have allowed us to bank the funds we need as we move into the campaign’s final weeks.”
