Trump Artist’s Installation Goes Viral—Dems Embarrassed!

Scott LoBaido, pulling up in a U-Haul truck, released the balloons near the courthouse in a dramatic gesture meant to symbolize his disdain for the legal figures prosecuting Trump. He described his artwork as a pointed critique of those he believes are undermining the former president and, by extension, the Constitution itself. “As a New Yorker, this is how we talk,” LoBaido told The New York Post.

The artist explained that he spent two days and $1,500 preparing for the installation. He took great care in attaching the faces to the balloons and weighting them down to control their ascent, ensuring the images were visible against the Manhattan skyline for as long as possible.

LoBaido’s protest is rooted in what he perceives as a disrespectful attack on the 2024 GOP presidential nominee. He accused Engoron, Merchan, Smith, and Bragg of attempting to “destroy” Trump and the constitutional values he stands for. The display not only highlighted the circus-like atmosphere surrounding the trial but also voiced the frustration felt by many Trump supporters who view the proceedings as a politically charged witch hunt.

This isn’t the first time LoBaido has used his art to make a political statement. Last June, he protested against New York City’s proposed regulations on coal and wood-fired ovens—a staple in local pizzerias. The artist threw pizza at City Hall, symbolically opposing the Department of Environmental Protection’s plan to cut carbon emissions from these ovens by 75%. His protest highlighted not only his opposition to the regulation but also his broader concerns about city governance, from crime to the treatment of veterans and first responders.

“Give us pizza or give us death,” LoBaido declared from the steps of City Hall, invoking the spirit of the American Revolution to underline his points about liberty and municipal priorities.

The trial of Donald Trump continues to captivate the nation. Trump faces 34 counts related to allegations that he concealed payments made to his former attorney, Michael Cohen, who paid porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about an alleged affair with Trump in 2006. Cohen, now a key witness against Trump, adds another layer of drama to a trial that has already seen its fair share of theatrics, both inside the courtroom and out.
