Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) is igniting speculation about his possible selection as former President Donald Trump’s running mate for the upcoming presidential election, reports the New York Post. In a discussion with Eric Bolling, Scott delved into the dynamics of the forthcoming debates between Joe Biden and Trump, lambasting the media’s biased approach toward conservative figures and forecasting a preferential treatment of Biden.
Scott opined on the expected nature of the debate questions, suggesting a contrast in treatment between the candidates. “We’re thinking softballs for Joe Biden and hardballs for Donald Trump,” he remarked. He further anticipated that the debates would highlight Biden’s age, positioning Trump as the figure to usher him into retirement. “The good news is, Donald J. Trump is going to be the guy that retires him,” Scott confidently stated.

Highlighting the bias in debate moderation, Scott criticized the absence of conservative moderators in the debates, which he believes would ensure a fairer discourse. “But let’s just, for every single intelligent viewer, which will be all of the viewers of your show, I think it’s quite remarkable that Joe Biden will not have a debate with a conservative moderator,” he told Bolling.
