‘The View’ COLLAPSES After Trump Warning!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

What makes the timing even more suspicious is that Behar’s “accidental” announcement came just one day after a stunning revelation from the White House: a veiled threat that The View could be the next domino to fall after Stephen Colbert’s show was suddenly yanked off-air and networks like ABC News and Paramount paid millions to silence Trump defamation lawsuits.

Meanwhile, The View’s Wednesday segment revealed even more hostility. The panel took turns mocking reports that former President Obama could be investigated for his role in the now-debunked 2016 Russia collusion narrative. Behar once again deflected, asking sarcastically, “First of all, who tried to overthrow the government on Jan. 6? Who was that again? That was not Obama.”

Then she launched into a bizarre tirade clearly meant to provoke: “The thing about him is he’s so jealous of Obama, because Obama is everything that he is not: Trim, smart, handsome, happily married, and can sing Al Green’s song ‘Let’s Stay Together’ better than Al Green. And Trump cannot stand it. It’s driving him crazy. Green is not a good color.”

Behar’s obsession with Trump has long fueled criticism that The View is more of a political smear machine than a daytime talk show. Her rhetoric appears to have finally drawn the attention of the White House.

White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers issued a scathing rebuke through Fox News, saying: “Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. It’s no surprise that ‘The View’s’ ratings hit an all-time low last year. She should self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off-air.”

Despite Rogers’ blistering remarks, ABC is trying to spin the story. A spokesperson for the network told Entertainment Weekly that the show is actually thriving: “‘The View’ is up in total viewers and women 18-49, versus the comparable weeks last season, to its most-watched in four years,” the spokesperson claimed. “Season to date, ‘The View’ is ranking No. 1 in households and total viewers among all network daytime talk shows and news programs for the fifth straight season.”

Still, many aren’t buying the network’s sunny outlook. If the show is performing so well, why the sudden “hiatus”? Behar’s blunder may have exposed far more than intended—and Americans are watching closely.

In a media landscape that often feels like a coordinated messaging operation, Thursday’s moment on The View was a rare slip of the mask. Whether it was accidental or intentional, it revealed a vulnerable moment for one of the Left’s most cherished TV platforms.
