Supreme Court Shocks Trump – Can’t Deport Them!

In a stunning turn of events, the U.S. Supreme Court has sided against the Trump administration in its push to deport criminal Venezuelan nationals under the Alien Enemies Act—an arcane but powerful law meant to protect America from threats in times of conflict. The decision, delivered in an unsigned order Friday, has sparked fierce dissent from conservative justices and ignited outrage among supporters of border enforcement.

The Court ruled that the Venezuelan detainees weren’t given enough notice to contest their deportations—a procedural technicality that has now halted removals of individuals allegedly tied to gang activity. The Trump administration’s attempt to expedite deportations under the 1798-era Alien Enemies Act was temporarily blocked, effectively giving these foreign nationals a judicial lifeline.

“Under these circumstances, notice roughly 24 hours before removal, devoid of information about how to exercise due process rights to contest that removal, surely does not pass muster,” the decision read.

While the Court’s majority offered no signature, Justice Brett Kavanaugh penned a concurring opinion defending the injunction on procedural grounds rather than the merits of the case itself.
