Liberal Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor took a veiled swipe at former President Donald Trump during a speech at Georgetown University, pushing back against his criticism of activist district court judges.
Trump has been outspoken about judges who have blocked key aspects of his America First agenda, most recently targeting Judge James Boasberg, an Obama appointee in Washington, D.C., for his decision to halt deportation flights of Venezuelan nationals. In response, Trump called for Boasberg’s impeachment and even hinted at revoking his security clearance.
