Six ‘Youths’ Attack Couple With Kids!

Authorities say several suspects descended on the male victim and assaulted him so severely that he was left with serious injuries.

His girlfriend was also targeted during the confrontation. Police said jewelry was taken from her and that she sustained minor injuries.

But the violence did not stop with the adults.

Two children who were with the couple were knocked from their stroller as the attack unfolded, turning an already terrifying robbery into an ordeal involving an entire family.

Authorities have not publicly said whether the children suffered injuries.

The male victim, meanwhile, reportedly suffered potentially life-changing injuries and was hospitalized in critical condition.

Police moved quickly to identify suspects following the attack.

Four people — two adults and two juveniles — have now been arrested in connection with the robbery, authorities announced Wednesday.

The adult suspects were identified in reports as 18-year-old Zahier Frazier of Panorama City and 24-year-old Keira Wilis of Los Angeles.

The identities of the two juvenile suspects have not been publicly released because of their ages.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident, with reports indicating that additional suspects may still be sought.

KTLA summarized the case this way:

“Four people, including two juveniles, have been arrested after a violent robbery in Culver City left a man seriously injured and knocked two children from their stroller, police announced Wednesday.”

The station reported that the arrests stemmed from the Aug. 31 incident at a retail location near the Westfield Culver City shopping center.

Police said the male victim was seriously injured during the assault while his girlfriend lost jewelry to the robbers and sustained less severe injuries.

For shoppers, perhaps the most chilling detail is that the attack allegedly unfolded with the couple’s children right there.

Parents pushing children in a stroller would hardly expect to find themselves at the center of a violent robbery during a trip to a shopping district.

Yet that is precisely the terrifying scenario police are now investigating.

The incident also comes amid previous violent crimes connected to the Westfield Culver City area.

Earlier in 2026, a deadly shooting was reported in a parking area associated with the shopping center. The mall has also dealt with highly publicized group theft incidents in previous years.

The latest case is considerably more disturbing than a simple retail theft, however.

This time, police say actual people were targeted.

A man was beaten badly enough to suffer serious injuries. His girlfriend was robbed and hurt. Two children were knocked out of their stroller while the chaos unfolded around them.

The arrests will now shift attention toward prosecutors and the criminal cases against the adult defendants, while the juvenile suspects will be handled under the rules governing minors.

An arrest, of course, is not a conviction, and each defendant is entitled to the presumption of innocence unless proven guilty in court.

Still, the underlying allegations paint a horrifying picture of an ordinary family suddenly encountering extreme violence in a public shopping area.

For Los Angeles-area residents already concerned about violent crime, the circumstances are likely to raise another uncomfortable question: How does a parent protect a family when an everyday shopping trip can erupt into something this brutal?

Police have so far taken four suspects into custody.

But for the father reportedly left with potentially permanent injuries — and the children who witnessed the attack unfold — the consequences of those terrifying moments could last far longer.
