Previously unknown video from The Post Millennial reveals a violent altercation involving Justin Jones, a state representative from Tennessee. In a horrific incident that happened barely three years ago, the video shows Jones aggressively racing towards automobiles on a busy street and violently attacking a motorist.
Jones, who had previously been ejected from the state’s capital for participating in anti-gun protests, was finally re-instated on Monday thanks to the vociferous backing of progressive activists. The act in issue was part of a concerning pattern of behavior that included hurling a traffic cone at an oncoming car after alleging the driver had hurled racial epithets. A grand jury indicted Jones on two counts of reckless endangerment, but other charges were dropped in the hopes of securing a plea deal.

In response to the footage’s publication, Jones attempted to calm worries about his conduct by tweeting, “They will try to push a false narrative portraying me as “violent” as a way to deflect from their own actions. They will suggest that I am out of order. That is their strategy. However, I’m hopeful for the chance to present our evidence in a transparent manner.”
After throwing a drink at the former House Speaker Glen Casada before the ceremony, Jones was not allowed to enter the Capitol.
Jones was well-versed in the progressive involvements of the Nashville community prior to taking office in 2022. He was an outspoken activist who led slogans against a police car during the George Floyd demonstrations, which led to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department dropping the charges against him. Jones graduated from Fisk University, where he vehemently opposed voter ID legislation and supported Medicaid expansion. At Vanderbilt Divinity School, where he worked to improve society, he continued his commitment to furthering social problems.
National Democrats came together to assist the re-election campaigns of Jones and other lawmakers after they were removed by holding an extraordinary fundraiser that brought in a stunning $250,000. Supporting individuals who were unfairly ousted is encouraging, and it bodes well for the direction of American politics in the future.
