Asserting that the Democratic incumbent has been unfairly targeted by Republicans, Brzezinski highlights that President Biden is “working” hard. She contends that people would be crazy to back the former president Donald Trump.

“I’m going to lose it, literally I’m going to lose it. They bring up his age, he’s 80 years old. He makes jokes about his age. And yet he’s working on every level, foreign and domestically. And then, are you making the argument, is one making that argument that oh, he’s 80, therefore a voter is going to vote for Donald Trump? Like that’s the choice?” Brzezinski questioned with skepticism.
Joe Scarborough quickly brought up the fact that, when he was president, the 77-year-old Trump was a regular viewer of television news. Given his prior position as a Republican congressman, this raises questions over his eligibility for a second term.

There have been moments when Scarborough and Brzezinski have had enough of President Trump’s rise. The former has declared that President Biden is “risking his life” by traveling to Ukraine when that country is at war with Russia, and he has cursed live over the 45th president’s successful town hall presentation. Scarborough has also shown signs of dismay at President Biden’s deteriorating poll ratings, which indicate that a sizable majority of Americans and Democrats oppose the aging leader’s bid for a second term.
