The CEO of Bud Light is in a panic when he receives an unwelcome surprise.
Join the effective boycott against the contentious alliance between Bud Light and transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The reaction began in April and is still going strong.
There doesn’t appear to be any chance for a recovery under the appalling management of AB-InBev.
Keep the Anheuser-Busch name alive! Billy Busch, the famous family’s heir, wants to repair the damage the present owners have done.
He made his sincere desire to take back control of Bud Light from AB-InBev known in a forthright interview with Fox Business.
Busch announces a meeting with investment banks to buy the brand and remodel it following the relationship with Mulvaney.
“It’s absolutely a serious offer,” Busch said. “My family worked so hard and dedicated so much to build this company over decades. It’s great American history . . . to see this iconic brand now going in the direction it’s going, it’s really a sad day.”

In 2008, the Bush family sold its stakes in Anheuser-Busch, the prestigious parent company of Bud Light.
“I haven’t made any offer at this point, but I’m sure that it’s probably worth, at this point, pennies on the dollar,” Busch explained. “I don’t see InBev making money on it right now. It’s probably costing them money. So, maybe they’d really be able to give me a great price to buy it from them.”
Anheuser-Busch has seen huge losses in sales and market value as a result of the boycott of Bud Light.
Busch has received the commitment of investment banks to work with him in regaining ownership of the business for his family.
“They have talked to me and they’ve told me that if I needed help with investors, bringing on investors and coming up with the proceeds in order to purchase those brands, the Bud family brands, they’d be right there in line to help me,” Busch said.
In addition, he said that if he bought Bud Light, he would reinstate the “old way” of promoting for the brand and reinstate the principles upon which his family had founded the business.
“Those values were strength, they were pride, quality, honor – what this country is basically built on,” Busch said. “And it was also built on fun and enjoyment and bringing people together. And it was never built on pushing a political agenda down your throat.”
Busch said that Bud Light’s choice to use a transgender social media celebrity in their commercial will cause his family to experience great shock.
“Transgender culture is unfortunately a very political issue today,” Busch continued. “My family knew to stay out of that arena because they didn’t want to alienate anyone.”
Brendan Whitworth, CEO of Anheuser-Busch, maintains his position and won’t apologize for the Mulvaney collaboration. There were no takeaways from the controversy.
The Busch family alone is responsible for bringing Bud Light back to life.
