Air travel is already stressful enough. But one shocking incident in China showed how quickly things can spiral out of control when parents refuse to discipline their children.
On August 7, 2025, China Southern Airlines flight CZ6164 was scheduled to make a routine three-hour-and-forty-seven-minute trip from Shenzhen to Dalian. Instead, the journey turned into a nightmare for one woman who was brutally attacked by an entire family — all because she dared to complain about a child’s behavior.
A Child’s Disruption Turns Ugly
According to witnesses, a boy sitting behind the victim spent nearly the entire flight kicking the back of her seat as though it were his personal toy. The woman tried to handle it politely. She asked him to stop, multiple times. Nothing changed. The parents sat by, refusing to lift a finger.
The situation escalated when the boy walked down the aisle to use the restroom. On his way, he deliberately slammed into the woman, knocking her headphones to the ground. Still, the parents remained silent. That’s when tensions began to boil over.
