Representative Bob Good, a Republican from Virginia, came under fire last Saturday after his campaign crew reported a bunch of Trump supporters to the police during a gathering. The incident started when Rep. Good—who was running for reelection—was kicked out of the pro-Trump gathering.
The Daily Caller was able to secure an audio tape of the controversial event, which has now drawn widespread criticism. In the midst of a primary contest for Virginia’s 5th district against state representative John McGuire (R-VA), representative Good was seen on camera making a visit at a Trump-themed business in Farmville, Virginia.

The main source of contention was Karen Angulo’s business, which was once owned by the Appomattox, Virginia, GOP Chair.
On the recording, a person going by the name Diana from Bob Good’s campaign frantically called the police and complained about “belligerent people” supposedly invading the congressman’s personal space. Four white male youths were said to have caused the disturbance by filming and photographing.
LISTEN:
Reese Gorman, a writer for the Daily Beast, recorded the scene, which showed Rep. Good and the event organizer arguing. He was accused by the organizer of attempting to take advantage of the event for his own political benefit.
Rep. Good was challenged by the organizer over messages that falsely suggested he was the one behind the event, which featured President Trump’s likeness and asked for money. This was seen as an illegal attempt to use the occasion for self-promotion.
WATCH:
Angulo declared with conviction, “This is not the Fitbisters, this is my private show, and you all are trespassing.” Rep. Good faced further charges that he was attempting to exploit the privately owned event site for his political campaign operations by misrepresenting it as a public area.
