Pennsylvania’s Democratic Representative faces an abrupt end to his political career as not one, but three women reveal shocking accusations of sexual harassment against him. Consequently, the beleaguered lawmaker has decided to relinquish his elected office.
Mike Zabel, a state representative for Pennsylvania, has announced that he will retire on March 16 after a distinguished career representing Delaware county, which is located southwest of Philadelphia.

The first explosive revelation of sexual misbehavior emerged from Colleen Kennedy, a onetime confidante and campaign maestro.
In a recent blog post, Kennedy exposed shocking allegations of State Rep. Zabel engaging in inappropriate physical contact during public events throughout his 2018 campaign. “On one occasion while at a fundraiser hosted by members of Mike’s wife’s family, Mike put his hands on my back, grabbing me and moving his hand upward and downward in the way people who are in a romantic relationship would, until I leaned away as inconspicuously as possible,” Kennedy wrote.
Kennedy revealed that Zabel expressed remorse upon recognizing his misconduct, attributing the unsuitable contact to his intoxicated state. “As I reflected upon that incident in the hours and days after, I considered alcohol to be a prominent character in that story,” Kennedy explained.
Accusations of misconduct surface as lobbyist Andi Perez alleges that state Rep. Zabel engaged in unwarranted physical advances during a conversation near the Harrisburg state capitol. Despite Perez’s attempts to distance herself, Zabel, a Democratic lawmaker, reportedly persisted in his improper behavior.
