In Montana, Republican candidate Tim Sheehy is leading Democratic incumbent Jon Tester by eight points, with 50% of voters favoring Sheehy compared to 42% for Tester. This surge in support for Sheehy marks an 11-point net gain in his favorability since July, while Tester’s popularity has taken a sharp decline. As a long-time Democratic senator, Tester is struggling to regain his footing, with only 1% of voters unfamiliar with him and a mere 5% holding a neutral opinion.
