See Who Bannon Thinks Will Be Trump’s Running Mate

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene seems to be embracing her position as a prospective running mate for former President Trump in the 2024 election. In fact, one of the former Commander in Chief’s closest colleagues even brought up the possibility that the two of them would run together.

Steve Bannon, host of the podcast “War Room,” said the following this week in an interview with NBC News: “This is no shrinking violet, she’s ambitious — she’s not shy about that, nor should she be. … She sees herself on the shortlist for Trump’s VP.”

When Greene “looks in the mirror, she sees a potential president smiling back,” Bannon noted further.

According to a second person who has provided Greene with advice, she “whole vision is to be vice president.” Marjorie Taylor Greene is anticipated to be included on a short list of candidates that Donald Trump is mulling about, according to a person with strong connections who shared this information.

Greene has made considerable progress in establishing herself as a mediator between the more conservative members of her party and its more moderate leadership. According to sources for NBC News, her objective was to find a way to bridge an ideological chasm that existed between two very different factions of the party.

“She’s both strategic and disciplined — she made a power move, knowing it would run up hard against her most ardent crew,” Bannon added. “She was prepared to take the intense heat/hatred short-term for the long-term goal of being a player.”

NBC News noted further: “Her push for McCarthy alienated some of her allies in the House Freedom Caucus and like-minded conservative activists, but that was a calculated risk, according to Bannon. Trump has not publicly given any indication that he is seriously considering a vice-presidential pick at this early point in the process, and aides did not respond to NBC News’ inquiries about Greene’s chances of ending up on a Trump ticket.”

When contemplating prospective candidates to run with Trump on the Republican ticket in 2020, Greene’s name has continued to be brought up often in the discourse.

During an appearance last month on MSNBC, Robert Draper, a reporter for the New York Times Magazine, disclosed that the fiery Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene may be on President Trump’s ticket in 2021. This information provided a hint that there may be a political shake-up for Republicans in the upcoming election.

“To be fair, it’s very likely that Trump has had this conversation with half a dozen other people too,” He shared this information with anchor Ali Velshi, noting that Greene may have something other Republican women don’t have.

“What Greene possesses that Trump so craves is loyalty. She has always been there for Trump. She has always had his back and after his experience with his last running mate, Mike Pence, it’s clear that he’s going to prize loyalty above all else, so I wouldn’t count it out,” he said.

During a prior interview with The Daily Beast’s “New Abnormal” podcast, Draper shared his thoughts on the subject. “that Greene had risen quickly in her first term in Congress by using the same tactics she honed as a right-wing social media influencer harassing Democratic staffers, and she could shoot to the second-highest office in government,” Raw Story reported.

“Republicans kind of wanted to kick her to the curb immediately,” said Draper, per the outlet. “But instead, she became a fundraising dynamo, came to have this huge social media influence, and ultimately came to be very influential within the party itself.”

According to sources compiled by Robby Draper, President Trump has been considering the possibility of selecting Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene as his vice presidential candidate since the month of February.

“[Trump] has every reason to expect that Greene would be by his side and would be his proximate warrior” Draper said further that they had stuck together “through thick and thin.”

Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York is a significant person in the Republican Party. She was recently mentioned as one of the prospective running mates for President Trump and is presently serving as the third-ranking member of the Republican Party in Congress.

An article published by Foreign Policy last year and titled, “Elise Stefanik Is Most Likely to Succeed,” the authors’ detail, “A young woman once hailed as the future of the Republican Party embraces Trumpism to stay that way.”

“At 30 years old, Stefanik had been the youngest woman ever to be elected to Congress in 2014. At a time when the party sought to reach a younger and more diverse pool of voters, she was hailed as the future of the Republican Party,” the report begins.

“Having hitched her cart firmly to Trump, Stefanik looks to have as bright a future within the Republican Party as when she was first elected to Congress eight years ago. She endorsed his still hypothetical candidacy for 2024—and has already been tipped as a potential running mate,” the story added.
