Labeling the covert effort as an affront to democracy, Lee blasted the group for undermining accountability. “Schumer, McDonald, Johnson, Jeffrey—the firm. They did this. Okay, McDonald and Schumer cooked this up for the last 85 days in secret, dropped it on everybody Wednesday, and this is where we are,” Lee stated.
